Held on October 24th in Madrid, the event was attended by over 300 stakeholders, including representatives from the food industry, academia, research institutions, and policymakers. Organized by the Spanish Food and Drink Federation (FIAB) and supported by the Technological Platform Food for Life Spain and the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food, this 10th-anniversary edition focused on advancing the future of food and drink in Spain through collaboration, innovation, and sustainability.
ALIBETOPÍAS is recognised as a flagship networking event that brings together influential voices in the food sector to foster innovation, knowledge-sharing, and strategic synergies. This year’s theme focused on innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation in the food system, showcasing how cross-sectoral collaboration is essential for competitive, sustainable growth in the agri-food industry. The event demonstrated the Living Lab approach, showcasing the FOODPathS Living Labs platform, which includes cases from across Europe that aim to collaboratively develop, test, and scale sustainable food systems.
Engaging with Stakeholders for a Sustainable Food Future
At the heart of the event, FOODPathS was presented by partners from FIAB in the exhibitors’ corner.
