38th EFFoST Conference 2024

This year’s European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST) conference will take place in Bruges, Belgium, on 12-14 November, and FOODPathS will be actively contributing.

EFFoST2024 will explore the theme ‘Future Food Systems: Innovation through progress at scientific interfaces’, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration within the food sector. FOODPaths will participate in 2 important sessions during the event.

On November 12, FOODPathS will host a session on ‘Fostering the university-driven food ecosystems: Stakeholder debate on educational needs towards food systems transition’ . Open for registrations, this session will include presentations on

A network of university-driven local food ecosystems, encouraging institutions, staff, and students to foster Food 2030-inspired food system transitions
How to develop a Sustainable Food System Curricula to foster food system transitions

The session will conclude with an interactive debate featuring universities, students, and representatives from the food sector.

On November 13, FOODPathS will hold a closed workshop with the Good Food Institute on ‘Sustainable Food Systems in the broader sense’ discussing challenges in modern food technology and offering recommendations for supporting the transformation of food systems.
