6th FOODPathS Funders Forum

The Funders’ Forums provide an opportunity for funders or potential funders of the Partnership SFS to come together and discuss, explore the role of funding in shaping future food systems, and share experiences and expertise with other stakeholders to add value to European food systems.

The 6th edition of Funders Forum events  will address the following questions:

• How can a food systems approach be implemented in a funding programme? What are important elements to consider? How can impact be enhanced?
• What are good examples from past calls to learn from?
• What are challenges and barriers for project partners to carry out a food systems approach and for funders to fund projects with a food systems approach?
• How to realize inter- and transdisciplinarity within an overall food systems approach? How to shape the future calls of the Partnership?

Preliminary programme items are:

• Updates from FOODPathS and the FutureFoodS Partnership (Sustainable Food Systems Partnership)
• Input from the European Commission and invited experts
• Findings from FOODPathS work on food systems oriented funding modes
• Time during interactive sessions to discuss, exchange and share ideas and experiences
• The opportunity to help shape the topics for the first call of the FutureFoodS Partnership
